On Australia Day a large team represented Tathren Stud & Riding School at this event. It was a "first show" for many of the competing pupils; and many hours of preparation and planning had gone into this, both behind the scenes, as well as on the day.

There are many people to thank for ensuring this day ran smoothly. Firstly a big thank you to my wonderful horses that carried many a nervous but keen rider to great successes on the day. It proves to me that we are on track in producing a horse with great temperament, movement and trainability with our breeding program. It is such a joy to see many horses out there with the Tathren prefix putting a smile on pupil's faces; both in the Funkhana ring and the Open ring.

Many thansk to Chris Donnelly who transported some of the horses to the show, and played a vital part in preparing the team on the day.. plus being there for the constant support to the pupils. Thank you to Deb and Caitlin McNally and to Lauren Power for putting in a huge day washing and preparing horses before the show (nothing like a 10:30pm finish!). Thank you to the parents of competing pupils who had their children so beautifully turned out, and also for allowing them the opportunity to compete. Thank you to the pupils who came along to help and support competing pupils... Ciara, Lauren, Renee and Caitlin Fitz Henry. The day was filled with support and many congratulations for each other; only added to the wonderful spirit of community that is most evident at Tathren Stud.
