Below is a report from our South Australian connection from their "A" Class Main Event Show. We are thrilled when we can report on horses that we have sold
and their sucesses... Enjoy...
Hi All,
It’s been a long drought from the Show ring, in fact the last Arabian Show that we competed in was this show last year. In that time we have been very privileged to have acquired a stunning partbred weanling gelding, ‘Tathren Royal Pagasa’ from Tathren Stud. We fondly call him Rupert and today was his showing debut. We are thrilled to announce the following results from both Rupert and Bailey; ‘Baileys On Ice’
SATURDAY RESULTS – BAILEYS ON ICE
- Champion Partbred Arabian Gelding over 4 years
- 1st Best Palomino, Pinto, Buckskin Exhibit over 4 years
- Champion Duel Registered Exhibit
- 3rd Best Trot
- 2nd Rider over 18 years
Champion Ridden Derivative Gelding – A huge win in a hotly contested class of 10 entrants, including some of SA’s best performed Open Hacks, Anglos, ARP’s ect. Some of the big names that he beat were: Ke Anbree De Ja Vu (One of SA’s leading Open Galloway’s), Al-Kareeme Armani (Aust Champ Anglo), Ibnky X-Rated (3 times Supreme Ridden Exhibit of the Main Event and 2 times Supreme Saddle Horse SA Arabian Champs), Kaylee Centrefold (multi EFA POTY in Tas, recently purchased by SA owner)
Well done Bailey! He really worked the house down producing huge extensions and a wonderful, sensible work ethic. He narrowly missed out on Supreme Ridden Exhibit of Show to the Champion Derivative Mare. He was FAULTLESS…
SUNDAY RESULTS – TATHREN ROYAL PAGASA
- 1st Most Attractive Head Junior Derivative Gelding
- Champion Partbred Gelding 1 year and Under
Winner of the Main Event Perpetual Award for Best Yearling Exhibit of Show – A MASSIVE win, against all yearlings of show, Purebred and Derivative, Colts, Fillies and Geldings!
A super result for Rupert’s very FIRST show and very FIRST outing! Interstate judges comments: ‘Absolutely Stunning’, ‘Total National Quality’
We look forward to continuing Bailey’s progression to the Dressage Arena – last weekend he competed in his first EFA Official Dressage Comp, taking home 5th Place with a nice test score of 61.4%. Rupert is growing into the most stunning horse, and we just can’t wait to ride him! |
