This was a huge feat as he had to beat older and more mature horses on both occasions, as well as arabian derivatives of all descriptions; Anglos, Arabian Warmbloods,Arabian Riding ponies, Arabian ponies, arabian stockhorses, quarabs and other part arabians. The future looks very bright for this eyecatching youngster.Congratulations to Lee and Harrison. |

Tathren Enticing Melody (sabrina,4yo chestnut Anglo mare) who won Champion Anglo Mare/Filly exhibit, and also provided Hannah with a reliable mount for her first experience at the very challenging level of open class showing. Hannah had only done beginner/interschool level competitions up until now. She won her intermediate arabian derivative ridden class, and Sabrina's sister..Tathren Enticing Rose (Francesca ridden by Caitlin McNally) was placed second. A very proud moment for me indeed as i watched these sensible 4yos being ridden in snaffles so nicely by teenage riders.Hannah also placed well in her rider and galloway classes. |

Many thanks to Vicki Stubbs,Karen,Ashley and Mikhail wilson,Rhonda Smith, Deb Dickson (who owns Harrison's weanling full brother),and also to Anthony Geyterman and Daniel Harvey for showing these youngsters so beautifully in hand. It was a very exhausting weekend but well worth it to see the Tathren horses do so well. |
